  Aug 29,  · I love Eric's Trip unconditionally. I love everything they've ever put out. Even their shitty records. And Forever Again is one of their shitty records. Their dreamy lo-fi landscape is as rich as ever, but the songwriting just isn't there. "My Chest Is Empty" is a personal favorite, but listening to his album just makes me Love Tara even more/5(10).

  May 11,  · At 17 tracks, the group's expansive follow-up, Forever Again, could be considered too long to hold attention, but Eric's Trip's power to soothe and seethe at the same time remains captivating. Tracks like "New Love" confirm that the band's sound is a study in contradictions: It's instantly catchy, but it sounds like it was recorded on an answering machine; it's punk rock, but it's dreamy, too.

Their initial career lasted six years from They have the auspicious accolade of being the first Canadian band to sign for Sub Pop. Forever Again is the band’s second album and sees them nicely balance melodic hooks with guitar noise. LP on Sub Pop.

It simultaneously triggers nostalgia for the summer before college in and explosively emotional and experimental college years up to Can't believe I found this album on vinyl. Had to 5/5(9).
